Subway Surfers Venice is a special World Tour map from the famous endless runner released in 2012, developed by Kiloo and SYBO. The arcade gameplay stays fast and simple while the background changes to romantic canals, elegant bridges, and bright festival streets, giving each run a tighter, more technical feeling.
The update introduced a brand-new surfer, Marco, a gondolier boy who represents the city’s maritime style. He arrived with a special Mask Outfit, unlocked for 30 keys, and a themed hoverboard called Gondola. Weekly Hunt collectibles also changed to Opera Masks, matching the festival vibe and giving regular players fresh goals to chase while improving their score.
Beyond characters and cosmetics, Venice became notable in the game’s history for adding the Weekend Fun award, expanding the list of rotating challenges. It is also remembered as the second World Tour set in Italy, following Rome, and one of many beloved European destinations that shaped the identity of the series over time.
