Subway Surfers Houston is the 130th stop in the World Tour and the overall 132nd edition of the long-running arcade runner by Kiloo and SYBO Games. Released on April 22, 2021, this update revisits Texas with a space-flavored twist, refreshed music, and a strong lineup of unlockables that give regular players new goals to chase.
The season welcomes back Alba as a limited character, available for 75 Keys, and adds Buzz, a new Houston surfer with the same price. Alba also receives a Space Outfit for 45 Keys, giving her a fresh look that matches the update’s theme. On the board side, the Shuttle arrives as a new hoverboard for 40 Keys, while the Rocket returns as a Season Hunt reward together with its speed-up power and the character Amy.
Season Hunt collectibles take the shape of Saturn tokens, fitting neatly with the cosmic style running through the event. Alongside the visual changes, the update features another fully remixed background track, continuing the 2021 trend of reworking music across several cities. Some familiar weekly events are removed, while the Multiplier Bonus event steps in to keep score hunters busy.
